My daughter was taught from Year 8 up to year 11. I have seen her develop from being shy, lacking confidence in herself and not really liking science in the beginning, to becoming far more confident and doing really well. We also added maths with similar results, where she went from set 5 (of 7) to top set over the course of the three years.

There’s no denying that English is one of the most important subjects undertaken at school. Practically all jobs require a pass at GCSE as a minimum requirement, and to move on to sixth form or university even higher grades are sometimes required. I teach both English & English literature with AQA, Edexcel and OCR and cover all aspects including Shakespeare, poetry, essay writing, fiction, non-fiction, prose, creative writing and drama.
