OCTOBER REVISION CLASSES
GCSE Maths & Science
We will be running some free (& paid), live online revision sessions throughout the half term (24th -28th Oct), which would be ideal for:
· Year 11 students preparing for mock exams in November
· GCSE & Sixth form students doing the November retakes
· High ability Key Stage 3 and Year 10 Students needing a challenge
How will it work?
I’ll be conducting 2 sessions for each subject on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th of October using Zoom & Google Classroom (12 sessions in total) covering both higher and foundation, different topics and elements of the specific exams. I will;
Model how to do each question and get full marks
Advise on how the GCSE examiner will mark their work (& their pet peeves)
Examine alternative methods/techniques on how to solve the questions
Cover common student mistakes and pitfalls to look out for
Monday 24th October
12- 2 pm Free Exam & Revision Techniques session
I’ll be conducting a free revision session based on my revision mastery workshop, suitable for both (Higher & Foundation) Maths & Science students. In this session we will examine the following;
• The truth about exams
• Learning Environment
• Learning Styles
• Revision Techniques
• Examination Techniques
• Command words
• Practice Questions
• What to do on exam day (& the night before)
• General advice
• The aftermath
5-6pm Parents & Guardians Live Q & A
This session is for parents and guardians of the students to attend & ask questions.
I’ll be going over things like the exams process, the exam boards, changes in the exams due to covid, further education, higher education, entry requirements, appeals, and entering as a private candidate.

I will make the papers available prior to the lesson via email on google drive and I recommend your child attempts them before the session in order to get the most out of it. I’ll be happy to take questions from them during the session too.
How do I register?
You can register for the classes below and the zoom link for the classes you have ordered will be sent to you, as well as the relevant papers. The Exam & Revision Technique session and the Live Parents Q & A will be free, the other sessions are charged at £8 per session.
